Run Brett, Run

This is awesome on so many levels that I just had to share:
I found out about this video from Sophie Brookover via Facebook. Sophie reports that she is planning to run the race — and perhaps even throw the race all for the cause.
I love it when a clever fundraising idea is promoted so brilliantly and I hope that this will be a huge success for Brett Bonfield and the teens who need a space to hang out at the Collingswood Library.

Thanks. Emerald (the filmmakers) deserve a lot of credit for overcoming the many deficiencies of their leading man.
I hope we have a great turn out for the race. The teens of Collingswood deserve to have a great area in their library, so we're doing our best to do right by them.

This is fabulous and shows how playing and loosening up can help you create something really unique! Good for Collingswood for having some fun – and getting their message out too!

Aha, I just KNEW there was a reason I had gone into training for my first 5K which I ran on July 25th.
😉
Even though I WILL not be able to beat Brett by this date, I will RUN! Fantastic idea, video, and plan!
Go, Brett, go!

It is my son's 5th Birthday that day and we have plans to go to Great Wolf Lodge otherwise I would participate too – not sure I would finish, but I would at least give it a try. I just started a new exercise regime and hope to be able to at least speed walk 5K some time soon.
It would be great to have a whole posse of NJ librarians chasing after Brett!

Excellent! Can I donate without running? Yoga is more my pace.

Please post your time for the race.
If he beats my time for that day, I will send the $25.00. If I beat him, I will send $15.00
If he is wearing Vibram shoes, I suspect he is actually a ringer, even with a suit and tie.
