Yes, we're definitely seeing that the WP embedding needs clearer instructions. Glad you figured it out and are having fun though. Please do send me an email and let me know what kinds of things you do with the service. I am always on the lookout for cool projects to share with other people! You might enjoy these videos from another educator, by the way, that I posted at http://marshallk.com/anthro-prof-makes-great-video-about-the-nature-of-the-web

Take care!
Marshall

Thanks for dropping by Library Garden Marshall. I really enjoyed using SplashCast this morning and found it to be very intuitive. The only problem I encountered was the embedding with WordPress process as it was not clear where to get the channel code (but it only took me 3 tries to get it right). I did not realize that you had only officially launched a week ago. I have several ideas that I want to implement with SplashCast and I will keep you updated.

Janie, thanks for spreading the word about SplashCast! We got a great response from the eLearning community when we launched last week. It looks like you've got the basics down in using the system, but if you ever want to compare notes re troubleshooting or creative inspiration - just drop me a line. I'm excited to see what the library community can do with SplashCast.

thanks for your support
Marshall Kirkpatrick marshall@splashcastmedia.com
Director of Content
SplashCast
http://splashcastmedia.com
